Blueberries

Blueberries have the highest level of antioxidants compared to other fruits. In my experience, they can be used to reduce sugar cravings by freezing them and then blending them with water to make a frozen treat. Instead of ice cream on a hot summer day, try a frozen blueberry blended sorbet. If you have a cat, put a little in a bowl. Cats actually like blueberries and they too can benefit from the nutrition.  You can also add them to a fresh vegetable salad to spruce it up. Chia seeds, a Superfood

Chia seeds come from a beautiful flowering plant, Salvia hispanica L. They are a superfood containing antioxidants, fiber, protein, omega-3, calcium, phosphorus, and magnesium.  You can start incorporating chia seeds in your diet in a few simple ways. By themselves, they are not full of flavor. Add a tablespoon to your almond or other milk alternative and let it sit for a few minutes before consuming. It is important to let them absorb liquid to unlock the power of chia seeds.  Try making chia pudding by mixing 2 tablespoons of seeds with 1/2 cup of an alternative milk.
